Responsibilities
- Development & deployment of solutions that leverage data sciences & advanced analytics to drive incremental value for a retail business
- Analyse and model structured data using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analysis
- Mine multiple data sets including large data sets through clustering & capture thematic trends
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in advanced analytics role preferably in Retail / CPG domain.
- Should have worked on projects / initiatives in merchandizing analytics, digital analytics
- Prior experience in machine learning & big data analytics necessary.
- Experience in productionalization of analytics products will be a plus
- Track record in managing deliveries of advanced analytical solutions in an agile & iterative model.
- Expertise in tools required to execute a data science project - SQL, Python, R, ML algorithms
- Expertise in using Cloud solutions(AWS, Azure, etc.) for deploying data science projects
- Synthesizing findings and insights through effective story telling through visualization tools such as Power BI /Tableau
- Detail-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary
- Excellent ideation, facilitation and communications skills.
