About the role
- Senior Business Analyst supporting complex Finance Systems implementation for a multinational company. Collaborating with project managers and finance stakeholders to deliver functional solutions.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Finance implementation projects across all delivery phases
- Collaborate daily with project managers and follow defined project governance and methodology
- Define operational and accounting schemes based on business requirements
- Design financial data flows and interfaces feeding finance systems
- Produce functional specifications for IT and finance system teams
- Coordinate stakeholders to ensure on-time and quality delivery
- Manage evolutions of the chart of accounts when required
- Contribute to testing strategies and execute accounting and reporting test phases
- Provide post-implementation support to finance and reporting users
- Support maintenance and change requests on accounting interfaces
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Finance, Banking, or Accounting environments
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience working with Excel
- Strong knowledge of general and/or banking accounting
- Understanding of banking or capital markets products
- Experience with financial information systems
- Proven experience working in project-driven environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
