About the role
- Insurance and Senior Services Coordinator responsible for enrollment into senior-related insurance policies and providing client support. Maintaining databases and planning community programs for seniors while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Enrolls clients into senior-related, individual insurance policies, including Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, prescription drug plans, life, hospital indemnity, and dental.
- Maintains agency management database and membership database for insurance clients and Senior Promise members.
- Offers support and resolves customer questions and concerns.
- Plans and develop various Senior Promise programs.
- Serves Senior Promise by phone, electronically, or in person in order to answers inquiries.
- Connects with local businesses to increase Franciscan Health visibility and discuss partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required within 60 days of hire
- Life and Health Insurance License Preferred
- AHIP Certification Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 5 years Customer service, medical billing, collections and Medicare insurance counseling
