- Physical Therapist responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients at Franciscan Health locations in Indiana. Instructing assistants and working with a collaborative healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of the patient within the parameters of legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures
- Instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned
- Evaluates and implements the plan of care to improve, restore and enhance physical functional performance, and promote injury prevention
- Performs documentation and quality improvement, as outlined in departmental policies and procedures
- Work with a collaborative team of physicians, physical, occupational, and speech therapists while providing one on one care to patients
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required
- Must have a valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state
- Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapist eligible
- Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities
- Ability and willingness to work in team environment
