About the role

  • Accountant responsible for day-to-day accounting operations in a dynamic, multi-entity iGaming business. Working within a growing international iGaming group based in Malta.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
  • Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement schedules
  • Assist with monthly and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with IFRS
  • Prepare financial statements and regulatory filings
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payrolls, and transactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CFA, or CPA) is required for to be considered for the higher end of the salary
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, of which 3+ years in iGaming
  • Experience from working with international multi-entity companies
  • Experience of working in Malta and handling reporting with Maltese authorities
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements in the EU
  • Proficient with ERP systems
  • Able to work independently and coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external advisors
  • Excellent attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
