About the role

Responsibilities
- Act as key contact towards the segments to govern and conduct controls check of key import/export data
- Ensure compliance with classification requirements
- Support development and improvement of customs, import and export processes
- Monitor and analyze operational and risk data to prepare reports
- Lead internal assessments and develop remediation efforts with operations teams
- Guide segments on import and export trade regulations
- Collaborate across teams to build trust, influence and make informed decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience (Supply Chain, Transport & Distribution, Logistics, International Studies, Legal, Economics, Financial)
- Strong understanding of customs and international trade regulations with LATAM focus
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Customs or Trade Compliance
- Experience or training in HTS code determination, customs valuation, rules of origin, free trade agreements
- Knowledge of import/export documentation, including certificates of origin
- Proficient in Spanish or Portuguese (Plus) & English
