About the role

  • Business Architect responsible for defining business capability architecture in Manufacturing and Quality for Johnson & Johnson. Engaging across value streams and driving architectural governance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a capability steward and architectural integrator
  • Translate business strategy into coherent capability roadmaps and guide cross‑functional initiatives through architecture governance
  • Connect Manufacturing and Quality ways of working to digital, data, and AI capabilities
  • Maintain awareness of external trends and emerging technologies relevant to Manufacturing and Quality ecosystems

Requirements

  • Define, maintain, and evolve business capability architecture for Manufacturing and Quality
  • Ensure capability definitions are stable, outcome‑oriented, and reusable across regions and products
  • Own capability dependencies and interfaces with adjacent domains
  • Partner with Business Product Owners to ensure initiatives optimize value flow
  • Serve as the accountable Business Architect for Manufacturing and Quality initiatives entering architecture governance forums
  • Clearly articulate architectural impacts, options, and trade‑offs to senior stakeholders and ARB members
