About the role

  • Lead Marketing Team at Pet Drugs Online, an ecommerce pet pharmacy. Overseeing channels like CRM, Loyalty, and SEO for impactful marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire and drive performance
  • *Manage a team of six across CRM, SEO and Loyalty, setting clear KPIs and guiding their development.
  • *Report performance to the Head of Marketing and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Own strategically important channels
  • *Shape and deliver the new PDOL Loyalty Scheme in partnership with our technology teams.
  • *Lead behavioural customer segmentation to create targeted, high‑impact journeys.
  • *Oversee CRM & SEO plans, ensuring activity is data‑driven and measurable.
  • Deliver integrated campaigns
  • *Manage the annual calendar of commercial and marketing campaigns.
  • *Work closely with Commercial, Ecommerce, Content, Customer Operations and UX/UI to deliver cohesive, on‑brand campaigns.
  • *Ensure all website content and UX aligns with campaign and brand standards.
  • Champion marketing excellence across the business
  • *Act as the go‑to marketing expert for sector trends, performance insights and campaign innovation.
  • *Lead marketing input into Commercial trading meetings.
  • *Monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities for differentiation.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in an integrated consumer‑facing marketing role (ecommerce experience essential).
  • Strong capability in CRM, SEO, brand and social channels.
  • Confident using GA4 and data insights to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • Organised, structured and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Sharp commercial awareness and a love of problem‑solving.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
