DevOps Engineer designing and providing software platforms for clients. Supporting cloud infrastructure setup and managing automation tools in hybrid or onsite environments.
Responsibilities
Support and advise our clients in designing and delivering software platforms.
Build private and/or public cloud infrastructures.
Manage large system landscapes using automation tools based on GitOps methods and tools.
Work is performed from a mobile office or, by arrangement, on the client’s site. There is also the option to work from one of our company locations if desired.
Requirements
Completed university degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences) or equivalent IT training.
Strong knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Rancher and Helm, and ideally experience with container platforms like OpenShift or Cloud Pak for Data.
Practical experience in automation (e.g., with Ansible, AWX/Ansible Tower, Chef, Puppet) and, ideally, in operating applications such as Kafka.
Good knowledge of GitOps methods and tools such as GitLab, GitHub, GitBucket or Jenkins.
High degree of responsibility and a structured way of working.
Ability to work independently and willingness to travel.
