DevOps Engineer supporting clients in designing and delivering software platforms. Managing cloud infrastructures and automation tools like GitOps in a dynamic consulting environment.
Responsibilities
You support and advise our clients in designing and delivering software platforms.
You assist in building private and/or public cloud infrastructures.
You manage large system landscapes using automation tools based on GitOps methods and tools.
Work is carried out as remote work (mobile office) or, by arrangement, on the client’s site.
Of course, you are also welcome to work from one of our company locations if you prefer.
Requirements
You have a completed university degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences) or a comparable IT qualification.
You have good knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Rancher and Helm, and ideally experience with container platforms like OpenShift or Cloud Pak for Data.
You have practical experience in automation (e.g., Ansible, AWX/Ansible Tower, Chef, Puppet) and, ideally, experience operating applications such as Kafka.
You have solid knowledge of GitOps methods and tools such as GitLab, GitHub, GitBucket or Jenkins.
You demonstrate a high level of responsibility and a structured way of working.
You are able to work independently and are generally willing to travel.
