About the role

  • Senior Regulatory Analyst handling regulatory relationships and compliance for energy transmission at ISA ENERGIA BRASIL. Managing contracts and regulatory submissions to support their energy transition efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the regulatory relationship channel for matters related to connection applicants, ensuring appropriate communication with external clients such as distributors, generators, free consumers and transmission companies
  • Connect connection applicants with internal teams, coordinating the flow of information required for technical and regulatory alignment throughout the connection processes
  • Identify and drive the resolution of connection applicants’ needs, proposing regulatory and strategic solutions that comply with current rules and safeguard the company’s interests
  • Negotiate, draft and manage regulated contracts, including CCT, CCI, CPSOM, CPSE and CPST, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
  • Negotiate, draft and manage regulated contracts for other revenue streams, such as infrastructure sharing and use of OPGW, ensuring regulatory conformity
  • Assess and manage regulatory aspects of transactions between related parties, such as infrastructure and resource sharing, provision of services, loans-for-use (comodatos) and loans (mútuos)
  • Obtain consents from the regulator, including asset disentanglement and new business activities, preparing the required regulatory documentation
  • Participate in regulatory improvement processes, attending hearings and public consultations promoted by ANEEL and MME and preparing regulatory contributions
  • Prepare regulatory opinions on matters relevant to the company’s activities
  • Advise internal teams on regulatory impacts and support the strategic planning process from a regulatory perspective
  • Comply with and enforce internal regulations, identify and report compliance risks, and guide, raise awareness and encourage anti-corruption and anti-bribery practices, occupational health, hygiene and safety standards, quality management systems and environmental preservation, as well as the use of PPE/EPC when the activity so requires
  • Drive company vehicles when necessary, provided duly licensed and authorized, as a required and mandatory condition for performing duties relevant to the role, and perform other activities inherent to the position or assigned by the immediate supervisor, provided the employee is licensed and within their knowledge and experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or Engineering
  • Solid knowledge of: electricity sector legislation and regulation, including normative resolutions and procedures issued by ANEEL (MCPSE, MCSE, PRORET, REN); regulatory rules and procedures applicable to the company’s activities, including interpretation of regulatory requirements and compliance analysis; regulated contracts (such as CCT, CCI, CPSOM, CPSE and CPST); regulatory requirements related to connection applicants; regulatory processes conducted by ANEEL/MME, in particular public hearings and consultations
