About the role

  • Data Strategist focusing on regulatory compliance working across information systems. Collaborating with various departments and leading workshops to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

  • You design varied and complex concepts and processes for information and communication systems that are optimized for regulatory requirements (e.g., AI Act, DORA, ESG)
  • You advise and train business units on new and existing projects and on regulatory questions (e.g., AI Act, DORA, ESG)
  • You lead workshops and rapidly understand clients' requirements
  • You identify trends in the digital environment and anticipate them when developing data strategies
  • You support the assurance of compliance with regulations and laws
  • As you gain professional experience, you will also take on technical leadership and responsibility for data strategy projects with a regulatory focus

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar qualification
  • Initial professional experience in business analytics, data governance, data science, or in a strategy consulting environment
  • Ideally, some experience in the financial services or insurance industry
  • Solid IT fundamentals and an interest in data architectures (data lakes, cloud platforms)
  • Confident presence and strong communication skills to independently conduct client interviews and workshops
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong drive to develop consistent end-to-end concepts
  • Experience in project management, especially with agile methods (Scrum)
  • High level of commitment, flexibility, creativity, and strong team skills
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
