Field Service Technician responsible for installations and maintenance of loading systems. Working nationally and internationally in the field for Emco Wheaton.
Responsibilities
Independently perform new installations and commission loading systems
Carry out service and repair work on loading systems
Maintain our loading systems
Train and instruct customer personnel in operation and maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults
Develop solutions to technical problems in collaboration with customers
Document the work performed
Participate in projects to improve operational processes in technical service
Comply with and observe occupational health and safety regulations
Assignments across Germany and internationally
Requirements
Vocational training in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanics; further training as a technician or master craftsman is desirable (m/f/d)
Professional experience in machinery or plant engineering
Solid knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical engineering; knowledge of control technology is an advantage
Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and an independent, reliable working style
Good command of English, both spoken and written; additional foreign language skills are an advantage
Good PC skills; confident use of the MS Office suite
Ability to work at heights
Compliance with travel and working regulations
Willingness to travel (national & international)
Valid driving license, class B
