About the role

• Leiter Betriebsabteilung Elektro-/Leittechnik für Grubengasbetrieb. Verantwortung für die Führung und Anleitung sowie Planung und Reporting der Betriebsabteilung.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for leading and supervising the Electrical and Control Technology operations departments in mine gas operations
• Planning, ensuring compliance with, and reporting on repair budgets
• Preparation of technical specifications for various plants, components and systems in instrumentation & control (I&C), control and metering technology
• Ensuring compliance with guidelines while taking mining legislation into account
• Training and further development of staff

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control (I&C) or Automation Engineering, or a comparable qualification with many years of professional experience
• Equivalent vocational qualification as a master electrician or technician
• Extensive knowledge of I&C (MSR) technology and metering technology, as well as solid experience handling gas and explosion protection
• Team player with high commitment and persuasiveness
• Enjoys collaborative working and maintains a collegial approach
• Strong process understanding and a confident appearance
• Independent and structured way of working
• Solid knowledge of relevant guidelines and standards (in particular DIN, DIN EN, VDI, DVGW, Federal Mining Act - BBergG)
• Basic knowledge of PLC technology and programming, as well as gas analysis techniques (CH4, CO2, O2)
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties (after familiarization)
• Confident use of SAP/4HNA systems and common Office applications
• Willingness to obtain further qualifications
• Class B driving license
