Responsibilities
Provide technical support to Manufacturing Operations.
Develop manufacturing process layouts and tool designs.
Collaborate with machinists to improve efficiency.
Apply Lean manufacturing principles.
Conduct research for equipment acquisition.
Program CNC machines using CAM systems.
Train Production Engineers and support team knowledge development.
Troubleshoot assembly and manufacturing issues.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years in a machine shop environment; proficiency with CAM programs required.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Blueprint reading and trigonometry.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Team player with customer focus.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of CNC programming, ISO procedures, tool knowledge, and fixture design.
Unigraphics and MCS 365 knowledge required.
Occasional lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed; occasional travel may be required.
