Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend and full-stack engineers focused on IP Fabric’s analytical capabilities.
- Foster a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Provide structured growth paths, feedback, and coaching to help engineers thrive.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on designing scalable and maintainable data processing systems.
- Influence technical decisions around data modelling, APIs, performance, and system reliability.
- Manage prioritization, sprint planning, and execution to ensure timely delivery of value.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to turn customer problems into well-defined engineering work.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally with distributed or data-heavy systems.
- Proven leadership experience (team lead, tech lead, or engineering manager).
- Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js or Go, and willingness to work with both.
- Experience with distributed/event-driven systems, or large-scale data processing.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), caching (Redis), and messaging (RabbitMQ).
- Ability to balance technical depth with people-oriented leadership.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
