About the role

  • Director overseeing clinical operations at Invision Sally Jobe imaging centers. Leading operational efficiency, staff development, and strategic initiatives in outpatient services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and management of all Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) outpatient services.
  • Ensures the effective and efficient operations of all clinical sites, as well as Patient Access, and Marketing Services.
  • Collaborates with other key functional areas such as Revenue Cycle, Quality, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Invision Sally Jobe sites.
  • Review operations, proactively make recommendations and implement changes to improve the overall operation and quality of services for the sites and the system.
  • Monitor performance, identify variances and take appropriate action to enhance the financial performance of the company.
  • Support Marketing efforts, including through market analysis, community recognition, provider relations, and patient experience.
  • Provide effective and inspiring leadership by being available and actively involved in all programs and services, developing a broad and deep knowledge of all programs and services.
  • Lead, coach, develop and retain managers and direct reports.
  • Develop succession plans within to facilitate cross-training and plan for future staffing changes.
  • Support a positive work environment and strong employee engagement.
  • Develop and deliver needed internal communications across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous quality improvement throughout all program and service areas, focusing on systems/process improvement.
  • Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.
  • Identify opportunities in all areas of operational oversight to leverage cross-program strengths to take advantage of new opportunities and/or to address organizational challenges.
  • Prepare and submit operating budgets for all areas of operational oversight, manage effectively within those budgets, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.
  • Provide monitoring of financial performance and develop priorities for ongoing improvement in profitability.
  • Ensure the continued financial viability of all operational units through sound fiscal management.
  • Develop and provide operations reports to the appropriate boards of directors.
  • Ensure that all program activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission of the company, and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and third party requirements.
  • Monitor customer service outcomes and implement strategies to improve customer service.
  • Implement effective strategies to address customer relations issues and service recovery strategies.
  • Conduct periodic surveys of customers (patients, referrers, payers) to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Physician Committees and Radiologists of Invision Sally Jobe.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with site and program area staff.
  • Manage and cultivate existing relationships with partners and other key stakeholders to secure and expand recurring revenue streams.
  • Publicly represent all areas of operation oversight with external constituency groups including healthcare community and other private organizations.
  • Participate in the development of strategic plans for ISJ to include new site development, and new projects, services or ventures.
  • Establish long-term and short-terms goals to meet the business objectives.
  • Provide programmatic leadership and input for all ISJ strategic plan implementation processes with senior management and staff.
  • Coach direct reports as they implement the strategic plan and transition program operations.
  • Develop and implement a system for tracking and reporting on the progress of the strategic plan implementation.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of management experience in a clinical environment, preferably in a radiology and/or outpatient imaging setting
  • Prefer at least three (3) years experience supervising managers across multiple operating units.
  • Strong business development background and experience
  • Strong relationship builder, leader and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams, developing organization-wide strategy for program excellence, engaging external partners, and partnering with executive leadership.
  • Track record of effectively leading a direct service organization with a complex array of programs, with the ability to leverage strengths across program areas; excellent project management skills
  • Can point to tangible examples of reporting and program measurement and evaluation
  • Demonstrates integrity, strives for excellence in all aspects of their work, and has experience in leading others to new levels of effectiveness and programmatic impact
