About the role
- Junior Head of Accounting managing internal finance at Inuvet through team leadership and reporting. Responsible for ensuring compliance and optimizing accounting processes while collaborating across borders.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).
- Hands-on involvement in accounting, ensuring the correctness and continuity of posting processes.
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of a small team (approx. 5 people).
- Coordination and liaison with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Optimization of posting processes and active participation in the further development of the ERP system.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Controlling or Finance.
- Several years of professional experience in auditing or in the accounting department of a medium-sized company.
- Familiarity with HGB (German Commercial Code).
- Experience with ERP systems (especially SAP).
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
