About the role
- Electrotechnician conducting tests for electric vehicle charging infrastructure at Intertek GmbH in Kaufbeuren. Involves compliance documentation, mechanical testing, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Organization and management of the approval and certification process for electrical charging products for electric vehicles
- Preparation of test plans based on national and international standards and regulations (IEC, EN, UL, CSA)
- Detailed documentation of tests and preparation of test reports
- Design and document reviews
- Execution of electrical and mechanical tests
- Continuous process improvement in coordination with Quality Management (QM)
Requirements
- Degree-qualified engineer (m/f/d/x) or state-certified technician (m/f/d/x) in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics, or equivalent vocational training
- Confident handling of measuring instruments; professional experience in testing is an advantage
- Good knowledge of electronic components and circuit diagrams
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
