About the role
- Senior Project Manager leading mechatronic projects from conception to production in the Interroll Group's Linz office. Managing interdisciplinary teams and ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for planning, managing and successfully delivering challenging mechatronic projects — from concept to production readiness
- Lead interdisciplinary teams and coordinate internal and external partners
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers
- Independently lead and manage complex projects in the field of mechatronics
- Create and monitor project plans, budgets and resource allocations
- Coordinate and manage suppliers and development partners
- Ensure compliance with quality, schedule and cost targets
- Conduct risk and change management throughout the project lifecycle
- Resolve technical issues and align requirements with customers, specialist departments and external partners
- Report to management and lead milestone and status meetings
- Support proposal preparation and project acquisition
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in project management of complex technical projects, ideally in mechatronics
- Solid knowledge of the development and integration of mechatronic systems
- Experience leading teams and working with customers and partners
- Confident use of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile, Scrum, V-Model, MS Office)
- Strong organizational skills, assertiveness and excellent communication skills
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
