About the role

• Senior APQP Engineer managing Advanced Product Quality Planning in mechatronic projects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet product quality standards from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation and monitoring of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes
• Leading and coordinating APQP activities for mechatronic products
• Developing and implementing quality strategies throughout the product development process
• Conducting risk analyses (FMEA, fault tree analyses)
• Facilitating design and process approvals
• Collaborating with R&D, production, procurement and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met
• Monitoring and analysing quality metrics
• Training and supporting team members in APQP-related methods and tools
• Reporting and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector
• Solid knowledge of APQP methodology and experience with FMEA, PPAP, SPC and other quality management tools
• Technical understanding of mechatronic systems and their manufacturing processes
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Analytical thinking skills
• Structured and independent working style
