About the role

  • Quality Engineer responsible for assuring quality in production across two sites in Germany. Focused on quality planning, supplier management, and process evaluations with a critical technical understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Independent quality planning in development and series projects
  • Management and approval of purchased parts and suppliers during project phases
  • Independent evaluation of requirements and preparation of quality-related documents
  • Facilitation, documentation and monitoring of Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs)
  • Independent execution of process assessments including process capability analyses
  • Handling of customer complaints including analysis, immediate actions and sustainable problem resolution
  • Independent preparation of evaluations and quality reports
  • Facilitation and follow-up of problem-solving sessions

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical or business-technical degree, scientific training, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management or quality planning in a similar role
  • Strong technical understanding
  • In-depth knowledge of common quality tools (especially FMEA, APQP, sampling/PPAP, problem solving/8D)
  • Good SAP and MS Office skills
  • Fluent English and German, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and proven conflict-resolution skills as well as ability to integrate into teams
  • Independent and responsible working style, analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Customer orientation, high stress resilience and flexibility are an advantage
