About the role

  • Quality Engineer overseeing quality in projects at production sites in Germany. Involves planning, evaluations, and monitoring quality processes for optimal results.

Responsibilities

  • Independent quality planning in development and series production projects
  • Support and approval of purchased parts and suppliers during project phases
  • Independent assessment of requirements and preparation of quality-related documents
  • Facilitation, documentation and monitoring of design and process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs)
  • Independent execution of process assessments including process capability analyses
  • Handling customer complaints including analysis, immediate countermeasures and sustainable problem resolution
  • Independent preparation of evaluations and quality reports
  • Facilitation and follow-up of problem-solving sessions

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, business engineering, a scientific qualification, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management or quality planning in a similar position
  • Strong technical understanding
  • In-depth knowledge of common quality tools (especially FMEA, APQP, sampling/PPAP, problem solving/8D)
  • Good SAP and MS Office skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German
  • Excellent communication skills, proven conflict-resolution abilities and ability to integrate into teams
  • Independent and responsible working style, analytical and critical thinking, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Customer orientation, high stress resistance and flexibility are an advantage
