Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and executes power and performance plans for IPs and SoCs
Identifies, builds, and maintains power, thermal, and performance optimizations
Conducts feature analysis and provides recommendations for future architectures
Develops and enhances tools for architectural performance analysis
Optimizes platform components for performance and power balance
Collaborates with design, architecture, and manufacturing teams
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Pre-Si power analysis and modeling
Power-aware design and identification of power reduction opportunities
Understanding of power/performance trade-offs
Experience with power estimation tools and Intel's design environment
Programming or scripting skills in perl, python, or TCL
Knowledge of computer architecture and silicon concepts
