Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and executes power and performance plans for IPs and SoCs
  • Identifies, builds, and maintains power, thermal, and performance optimizations
  • Conducts feature analysis and provides recommendations for future architectures
  • Develops and enhances tools for architectural performance analysis
  • Optimizes platform components for performance and power balance
  • Collaborates with design, architecture, and manufacturing teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Pre-Si power analysis and modeling
  • Power-aware design and identification of power reduction opportunities
  • Understanding of power/performance trade-offs
  • Experience with power estimation tools and Intel's design environment
  • Programming or scripting skills in perl, python, or TCL
  • Knowledge of computer architecture and silicon concepts
  • Thermal modeling and specifications for SoCs
