About the role
- Architectural Consultant leading technical data solutions and architecture for Intact Insurance's U.S. team. Collaborating to design performance-oriented data platforms and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with business partners, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical data solutions.
- Proposes and supports the implementation of data systems and technology plans, data architectures (Current state, Future state) and standards in order to meet the company’s strategic goals.
- Makes recommendations towards the design and development of data architecture, infrastructure, and business systems.
- Leads the data architecture part of data systems and technology projects, in collaboration with other team members.
- Develops and maintains the data systems and technology models and standards for a project.
- Collaborates effectively with others in a variety of work settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or another related field OR equivalent work experience
- 7-12 years of experience
- Hands-on data modeling, data Solutions development and data architecture experience in the data technologies used by the company – SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DB for PostgreSQL, Power BI
