About the role

• IT Internal Audit Assistant Manager responsible for assessing technology risks and operational processes. Leading audit engagements and collaborating with business audit teams across global operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated IT audit engagements with business audit teams, identifying and addressing technology risks within operational processes.
• Manage projects (timelines, budgets), mentor staff, and communicate clear, concise findings to stakeholders up to the Chief Auditor.
• Champion security excellence, stay ahead of emerging threats, and help evolve our audit methodologies and tools to foster a strong risk-aware culture.

Requirements

• Post secondary in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required
• Minimum 3 years in IT auditing is required
• Recognized professional designation (CISA, CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CISM, PMP, etc.)
• Experience in internal IT audit in a large public organization or external audit.
• Cybersecurity skills are required.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle processes is an asset.
• Knowledge of best practices and strong security controls over cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is an asset.
• Strong analytical skills leading to accurate conclusions.
• Strong project management skills and solutions driven.
• Versed in audit methodologies.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience using data analytics tools.
• Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
