- IT Internal Audit Assistant Manager responsible for assessing technology risks and operational processes. Leading audit engagements and collaborating with business audit teams across global operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated IT audit engagements with business audit teams, identifying and addressing technology risks within operational processes.
- Manage projects (timelines, budgets), mentor staff, and communicate clear, concise findings to stakeholders up to the Chief Auditor.
- Champion security excellence, stay ahead of emerging threats, and help evolve our audit methodologies and tools to foster a strong risk-aware culture.
Requirements
- Post secondary in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required
- Minimum 3 years in IT auditing is required
- Recognized professional designation (CISA, CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CISM, PMP, etc.)
- Experience in internal IT audit in a large public organization or external audit.
- Cybersecurity skills are required.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle processes is an asset.
- Knowledge of best practices and strong security controls over cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills leading to accurate conclusions.
- Strong project management skills and solutions driven.
- Versed in audit methodologies.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience using data analytics tools.
- Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
