About the role

  • Site Reliability Engineer at INSPYRE in Budapest developing, maintaining, and improving cloud solutions across diverse industries. Engaging in projects involving fintech, blockchain, and e-learning.

Responsibilities

  • You will participate in diverse projects from various industries, to mention a few: fintech, blockchain, well-being, navigation, e-learning, etc.
  • You will not get bored!
  • You will develop, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • You will manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS and drive continuous improvements.
  • You will work with Python-based services running in Docker containers, deployed to GCP and AWS, and run locally via Docker Compose.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Python experience
  • Experience designing and operating cloud-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
  • Solid understanding of containerization using Docker
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions
  • Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in production environments
  • Familiarity with at least one additional cloud provider (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience deploying, running, and maintaining services in the cloud
  • Good understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability principles
  • Comfortable working in Linux and/or macOS development environments
  • Solid experience with version control (Git)
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English.
