About the role
- Senior Frontend Developer focusing on modern web technologies and AI integration at INFORM. Collaborate in team-oriented projects, develop UI components, and establish AI strategies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating and deploying AI tools for frontend development (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
- Developing prototypes and proofs of concept for AI-generated UI components.
- Building a realistic, practical AI frontend strategy.
- Developing modern, high-performance UI components and making frontend architectural decisions.
- Conducting code reviews with a focus on quality, maintainability, and enterprise standards.
- Actively transferring knowledge through mentoring, workshops, and best practices.
- Critically evaluating AI trends with regard to their actual added value.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in modern JavaScript-based frontend development.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI APIs (e.g., via MCP – Model Context Protocol).
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and prompt engineering in the UI context.
- Strong expertise in UI frameworks, responsive design, and web standards.
- Solid full-stack understanding (ideally backend experience with Java).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for knowledge transfer and mentoring.
- Team-oriented working style, initiative, and willingness to learn.
- Holistic architectural thinking and a confident presence in larger organizations.
- Very good German and English skills (at least C1).
