Associate Engineer responsible for automatic test equipment and support in manufacturing at Celestica. Focus on optimizing testing processes for product quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification
Support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized
Under supervision and with assistance develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations
Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield
Debug of solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied
Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid understanding of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience
Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization
Requirements
0-3 years of working experience in testing and debug in both electrical and optical level
Degree or higher in Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Understanding of Python and/or C
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
Solid understanding of test methodologies and equipment used in manufacturing (e.g., functional testing, in-circuit testing, parametric testing)
Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and their application in process optimization and problem-solving
Knowledge of failure analysis techniques and methodologies
Understanding of quality management principles and their application in a manufacturing setting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
