About the role

• Backend Developer focusing on .NET and observability at Beyond Soluções. Collaborating on high-impact technology projects in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services in .NET (C#), with a focus on instrumentation for observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Evolve and maintain dashboards, alerts, and custom monitoring using DataDog and OpenTelemetry.
• Work with the golden signals (latency, traffic, errors, and saturation) to standardize service visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and monitor SLIs and KPIs.
• Investigate incidents and assist with root cause analysis based on structured production data.
• Ensure observability practices comply with regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS).
• Automate the creation and maintenance of reusable dashboards and alerts (no responsibility for infrastructure).

Requirements

• Strong experience in .NET / C# development.
• Hands-on knowledge of DataDog (APM, Logs, Dashboards, Monitors) and instrumentation tools (OpenTelemetry, DogStatsD).
• Understanding of the golden signals applied to distributed systems.
• Experience with microservices architecture and scalable cloud applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Practice with Git versioning and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles and software engineering best practices.
• Experience in regulated environments with a focus on audit and security (e.g., PCI-DSS).
• Ability to work in cross-functional, product-focused teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
