About the role

  • Werkstudent*in supporting research in plant phenotyping while enhancing the company's online presence. Engage in creative tasks related to technology journalism and media design.

Responsibilities

  • The group “Plant and Tree Phenotyping” develops sensor systems for phenotyping plants in laboratory environments, greenhouses, and in the field.
  • Design and improve our online presence across our social media platforms.
  • Create new presentation media and posts, and develop a new platform for the image repository.
  • Optimize the search engine optimization (SEO) process for web content related to phenotyping.

Requirements

  • You are studying (technical) journalism, media studies, or a related field.
  • You have experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
  • You already have experience writing journalistic texts (please attach writing samples).
  • You bring creativity in designing and implementing modern web interfaces.
