Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and execute a strategy to source a competitive and cost-effective global portfolio of IT products and services, with a focus on software and related services.
Manage assigned IT sub-categories (e.g. software, services) sourced globally, with a common supply base and similar market forces.
Manage IT sub-categories costs and performance of his/her/their full portfolio, including establishing the sourcing strategy and setting strategic objectives, while optimizing their supplier portfolio.
Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensure alignment with IFF business objectives, and participate on Category teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
Engage with global suppliers and maintain extensive market and network insights.
Interact with IFF’s IT leadership up to the CIO level, supporting business transitions during integrations and divestitures in collaboration with PMO.
Develop skills and capabilities in regional teams to support roll-out of IT digital strategies across various functions including Regulatory, R&D, Quality, Creation & Application, Commercial and Corporate functions (Finance, HR, Legal, etc.).
Contribute to key company, functional and global business strategies and cost initiatives, directly impacting IFF’s costs and margins.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, IT, Mechanical or any other relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Procurement.
3 to 5 years of experience in software license negotiations.
Prior experience in stakeholder management (Internal and External).
Direct negotiations experience with software companies like Microsoft, SAP and Salesforce.
Project management experience, people leadership and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English and global leadership interaction.
Ability to engage, motivate people and manage challenges in the organization.
Strong mentor skills and ability to coach team members.
Experience in identifying, developing and promoting new and existing supplier relationships for global areas.
