- Data Scientist II responsible for modeling complex institutional problems and discovering insights for IEHP. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to provide enhanced data insight.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for modeling complex institutional problems, discovering insights, and identifying opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques
- Collaborating closely with Data Science Developers
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify ways to augment and enhance data
- Provide insight beyond what can be gleaned from the existing data
Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in analytics, data science, and business intelligence
- Experience in developing algorithms, predictive analytics, or statistical models and using statistical packages are required
- Experience in analyzing large data sets that have complex (i.e., unstructured, structured, and semi-structured) designs is also required
- Experience in the areas of medical or health services is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or any non-related field along with a certification in data science from an accredited institution is required
