About the role

• Senior Project Developer managing solar photovoltaic projects in Italy. Collaborating with teams and overseeing development and permitting processes in a hybrid structure.

Responsibilities

• Analyses solar projects (including Due Dilligence and commercial negotiations), secures internal approvals
• Coordinates and manages development & permitting process of projects to ensure a timely “RTB” (ready to build) status
• Manages relationship (including contractual obligations) with co-development partners.
• Prepares projects for submissions to tenders and authorizations.
• Manages relationship with external and relevant stakeholders (e.g. municipalities, public authorities, DSO, TSO, regional bodies, landowners and service providers).
• Coordinates internal teams, e.g. legal, engineering, construction, finance and controlling
• Development of an in-depth knowledge of the local market legislation, regulations, subsidiary schemes etc.;
• Control on costs and cashflow within the development budget.

Requirements

• At least 7-10 years of experience in development of renewable energy projects in Italy.
• Deep knowledge of site-securing, interconnection and permitting processes of renewable projects in Italy.
• Extensive knowledge and experience on environmental issues.
• Knowledge of Autocad is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership skills.
• University degree.
• Native Italian is a must and fluent in English.
