About the role
- Penetration testing intern assisting in identifying vulnerabilities across various systems and applications. Hands-on experience in offensive security within the Cybersecurity team at IDEMIA.
Responsibilities
- Participate in penetration tests of infrastructure, web applications, thick-client applications, mobile platforms (iOS and Android), hardware, and IoT devices
- Assist with hardware and IoT pentesting, including test setup preparation and using tools to access and evaluate different interfaces
- Support the mobile pentest preparation phase
- Perform vulnerability re-tests to verify that previously identified issues have been correctly remediated
- Document findings, evidence, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations in clear, professional reports
- Contribute to internal research on new tools, exploits, and attack techniques
- Maintain ethical hacking standards and comply with company security policies
Requirements
- University degree or engineering school background
- Strong writing skills for communication with stakeholders at different levels
- Passion for hacking with an ethical hacker mindset (e.g., participation in CTFs or similar challenges)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
