About the role
- Senior Commissioning Engineer responsible for leading major Water Recycling projects at Anglian Water. Overseeing commissioning activities and mentoring junior engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning activities on major Water Recycling schemes throughout AMP8
- Mentor apprentices and assistant engineers, supporting capability development for AMP8 delivery
- Produce Commissioning Plans for AMP8 projects, ensuring integration with construction programmes
- Develop Impact Plans, commissioning RAMS and testing requirements
- Lead commissioning activities for multiple engineers on large, complex Water Recycling sites
- Undertake FATs, SATs, PLC/telemetry testing, dry and wet commissioning, and process optimisation
- Feed lessons learned into future AMP8 and AMP9 design and delivery
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Process or similar engineering discipline
- Proven commissioning experience in water recycling or process treatment environments
- Ability to lead teams and manage complex commissioning programmes
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of automated control systems and treatment process optimisation
- Experience of working on AMP frameworks or major capital delivery programmes would be advantageous.
