About the role
- Senior Frontend Software Engineer building intuitive web interfaces for satellite tasking and customer experiences. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain production Web UIs in Finland.
Responsibilities
- Build intuitive web interfaces that turn satellite tasking into transparent, reliable customer experiences.
- Contribute to the design, development, and support of modern Web UIs.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and delivery within an agile team environment.
- Collaborate with product managers, customers, internal stakeholders and other engineering teams to understand business needs and turn the insights into valuable solutions.
- Participate in maintaining our services in production, ensuring reliability, observability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and actively take part in code reviews and continuous improvement of our architecture and ways of working.
Requirements
- Solid experience in frontend software development, with excellent knowledge of React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Eagerness to understand business and customer problems and collaborate with stakeholders to make the right tradeoffs to build things that truly matter.
- Team work mindset, you take ownership of your work while keeping the team’s goals front and center. You actively contribute to team discussions and help drive technical decisions.
- Knowledge of UX principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend integration patterns as well as CI/CD pipelines and modern development and quality assurance workflows.
- Experience working with live production systems with safe daily deployments.
- You believe testing, documentation, and code reviews are essential parts of engineering—not chores.
