About the role
- Financial Operations Analyst for capital markets, handling post-market activities and compliance. Collaborating with investment operations to enhance processes in a dynamic financial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform post‑trade activities related to listed securities, derivatives and OTC products
- Manage the operational handling of market events
- Perform data validations for swaps, futures and other complex OTC products
- Work closely with the investment operations team
- Contribute to process development and continuous improvement
- Understand and apply legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams and external third‑party providers
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in investment operations or accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and wealth management
- Deep experience in key operational activities (securities settlement, clearing, reconciliations, collateral management, securities lending and repos)
- Knowledge of derivatives and OTC products
- Understanding of the financial, accounting and regulatory environments in Canada and the United States
- Fluency in French and advanced proficiency in English
