About the role
- Backend Developer contributing to the Hysopt product suite using modern technologies. Transforming HVAC concepts into scalable software within an experienced R&D team.
Responsibilities
- You use modern technologies like Java, Spring Boot, and popular Java libraries
- You develop API’s, business logic and algorithms **in the heart of our software**
- You become a **part of an experienced R&D team** which is responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including implementation, architecture, devops, testing, requirements and maintenance
Requirements
- Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, with **at least 3 years** **experience in Java backend development**
- **Affinity with physics and/or mathematics**, and interested in understanding the hydraulic and thermodynamic behavior of heating and cooling systems
- Experience with the total lifecycle of software development, or eager in making it your own
- Knowledge of the following technologies is an advantage: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Lombok, Mapstruct, Feign, OpenApi, MySql, Maven, Gradle, Intellij products, Amazon AWS and all its services, Docker containers, Atlassian products and OAuth 2.0
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies
- **Fluent in English**, Dutch is a plus
