About the role

• Platform Engineer responsible for competitive designs and quality improvement activities for handheld products at Husqvarna. Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure robust and competitive designs that deliver high quality and cost efficiency
• Lead, drive, and coordinate cross-functional work for quality and cost improvement activities
• Maintain a holistic overview of quality and cost performance for the platforms
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, global purchasing, and external suppliers
• Ensure robust technical documentation and lead engineering work from concept to implementation

Requirements

• Solid experience in mechanical design, preferably a minimum of five years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in sharing knowledge and solving problems together
• Strong project management skills with the ability to structure and plan work in a systematic way
