About the role
- Lead engineering team that powers Huntington’s Transactional Data Service, driving roadmap and client onboarding. Build high-performance team on GCP and ensure data quality and observability and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering organization that powers Huntington’s Transactional Data Service (TDS)
- Own strategy-to-execution for roadmaps, staffing, delivery, and financial transparency
- Build a high-performing team on GCP
- Drive reliability, data quality, and observability
- Partner with Product, Enterprise Payments, and strategic vendors to take TDS to GA
- Expand coverage across payment rails and reporting
- Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns, and a developer experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record in building cloud-native platforms AWS, Azure (preferably GCP) and leading API-driven architectures
- Strong background in financial services or payment systems (preferred)
