About the role

  • Insurance Sales Specialist selling personal insurance products through inbound and outbound calls to clients. Developing relationships and maintaining product knowledge for sales success.

Responsibilities

  • Sell personal insurance products to Individuals
  • Inbound and Outbound calling to prospective clients
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external referral sources
  • Meet goals for volume of quality new business quoted and written within company guidelines
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of products, services, technology and regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of work experience focused on Sales and/or customer service
  • A valid Property and Casualty Insurance license, or will be required to obtain the license within 45 days of hire
  • Sales Experience with proven ability to achieve sales expectations and meet high volume deadlines in a call center environment
  • A high energy and personable "over the phone" communication style.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of customers in various sales and service stages
  • Experience working with complex products/processes
  • Computer experience and experience with Microsoft Suite of programs, comparative rater and carrier sites
