About the role

• Senior TypeScript/JavaScript Engineer at hsag developing middleware and backend components for energy service companies. Integrating APIs, implementing RESTful services, and supporting CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• You develop middleware and backend components of our integration platform based on NestJS
• You integrate the APIs of the modules of our AI Suite into the AI Suite Studio
• You design and implement RESTful and web APIs
• You contribute to DevOps tasks and extend our CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• You have at least five years of experience in backend development
• You hold a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a comparable field
• You are proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js and NestJS and have experience developing modern full‑stack web applications
• You have initial experience in developing AI applications and are comfortable working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL as well as with ORMs
• You have very good German language skills (minimum C1) and solid English skills (minimum B1)
• A plus, but not required: basic experience with GitHub Actions
• You have a good understanding of cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure
• You have initial experience integrating LLMs into applications
