About the role

  • Account Operations Manager at The Marcom Engine managing commercial cost management and resource allocation. Supporting stakeholders and ensuring compliance in an international marketing environment.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the holistic, commercial cost management of freelancers and other internal costs
  • You review the project pipeline and oversee resource allocation across teams
  • You provide input to various stakeholders such as management, team leads and Creative Directors
  • You support those responsible for results in achieving their targets
  • You act as an intermediary between supplier and agency perspectives with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Contract management and adherence to TISAX guidelines are part of your daily routine
  • You support profitability analyses and related recalculations
  • You serve as an extension of financial controlling, continuously compiling all relevant facts that affect the company’s financial situation

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration with a focus on marketing/communication or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in account management within a digital consultancy or agency environment
  • Confident handling of agency-specific project software and BI systems
  • Experience supervising projects and colleagues and moderating business-related challenges
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Strategic and analytical thinking in the interest of the agency
  • Strong communication skills, hands-on mentality, team player and high ability to integrate
  • Solid MS Office skills (especially Excel) and a flair for financial figures and their implications
  • Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of information security and information security awareness
