About the role

  • Pipeline Developer responsible for designing and maintaining automated production pipelines across various tools for CGI and AI-based productions. Opportunity to work in a hybrid team environment in Munich.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline development: You design, extend, and maintain automated production pipelines across various DCC tools, Unreal Engine, render farm systems, and AI platforms.
  • Workflow automation: You implement and optimize asset, variant, and production workflows with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • System integration: You integrate tools such as Unreal Engine, Houdini, Nuke, After Effects, and Deadline into end-to-end pipelines.
  • Quality & stability: You define and enforce technical standards to ensure performance, stability, and reproducible results.
  • Pipeline operation: You support operations, monitor, and continuously develop existing pipeline components in close collaboration with IT and production.
  • Collaboration: You work closely with developers, technical artists, and production teams to create efficient and future-proof solutions.

Requirements

  • Pipeline expertise: You have proven experience in pipeline development with tools like Deadline, Unreal Engine, Houdini, Nuke, and After Effects.
  • Programming skills: Strong knowledge of Python and common scripting languages; experience with USD, C++, APIs, and automation is a plus.
  • Technical understanding: Excellent understanding of production pipelines, render-farm workflows, and data-driven processes.
  • Structured working style: You are detail-oriented, reliable, and approach problem solving methodically.
  • Language skills: Very good written and spoken German and English.
  • Nice to have: Experience with automotive CGI, real-time pipelines, or large-volume content production.
