About the role
- Responsable Support Santé Sécurité at Lafarge improving health and safety for operations in Midi-Pyrénées and Occitanie. Collaborating with teams while ensuring compliance and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support operational teams
- Help operational teams select, implement and follow up on Health & Safety improvement actions
- Support teams in driving initiatives, including during joint site visits
- Assist with the management and monitoring of contractors
- Contribute to the investigation of workplace accidents and the definition of corrective actions
- Ensure Group reporting and administrative requirements are met
- Define Health & Safety priorities for each site following audits and identify critical issues
- Challenge operational teams to improve performance
- Regularly monitor the progress of Health & Safety actions
- Hold teams accountable for execution timelines, particularly for priority actions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in HSE or equivalent
- Recognized knowledge and skills in Health & Safety
- Experience in the industrial sector
- Fluent in English
- Ability to manage across functions (cross-functional management)
- Strong coaching and listening skills
- Persuasive with strong influencing skills
