About the role

  • SPS Programmer developing and implementing complex control systems for HÖRMANN Intralogistics Solutions. Engaging in projects from planning to commissioning, alongside a team using cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

  • You program and optimize control software for modern systems such as stacker cranes and conveyor systems
  • You support the commissioning of our automation solutions and carry out comprehensive fault diagnostics
  • You create detailed application documentation and assist with planning new projects to ensure smooth implementation
  • You act as a technical advisor for customer inquiries and help develop tailored solutions

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electronics Technician for Industrial Operations, or similar, plus an additional qualification in PLC programming
  • Several years of experience in PLC programming and commissioning, ideally in intralogistics or special-purpose machine manufacturing
  • Knowledge of PROFINET, AS-i, and TIA Portal is an advantage
  • Very good German and good English language skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 50% travel, domestic and international)
  • Valid driver's license (car)
