About the role
- Senior Software Engineer working at HÖRMANN Digital to develop applications using React, TypeScript, and Python. Collaborating with a global team to drive digital transformation in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable applications with a focus on React, TypeScript, and Python
- Implement modern UIs (React, TypeScript, Next.js) and build high-performance backends (Python, and optionally Node.js)
- Write clean code, debug effectively, anticipate issues, and maintain high quality standards
- Support colleagues through pair programming, code reviews, and mentoring
- Work with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket) and use tools such as AWS SageMaker and Monitron
- Operate within a SCRUM team in an international setup and coordinate closely with internal stakeholders
- Contribute your own ideas, help shape new projects, and be open to modern tools and AI technologies
Requirements
- Several years of software development experience with React, TypeScript, and Python
- Passion for frontend development with solid backend understanding
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with SCRUM, pair programming, and code reviews
- Clear communication skills and a confident presence within the team and with internal stakeholders
- Very good English (C1+); German is an advantage (at least B2)
- Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience (hands-on coding, not only AI-assisted development)
