About the role
- SPS Programmer developing and implementing automation solutions for logistics at HÖRMANN. Collaborating on projects from planning to commissioning with advanced technologies.
Responsibilities
- You program and optimize control software for modern systems such as stacker cranes and conveyor installations.
- You support the commissioning of our automation solutions and carry out comprehensive fault diagnostics.
- You create detailed application documentation and assist in planning new projects to ensure smooth implementation.
- You act as a technical advisor for customer enquiries and help develop tailored solutions.
Requirements
- A degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
- Alternatively, vocational training as an electronics technician for automation technology, electronics technician for industrial systems, or a similar qualification plus additional certification in PLC programming.
- You are also an excellent fit if you have completed advanced technical training (Techniker) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in PLC programming and commissioning, ideally in intralogistics or special-purpose machine construction.
- Knowledge of PROFINET, AS-i, and TIA Portal is advantageous.
- Very good German and good English skills.
- Willingness to travel (50% travel, national and international) and a valid driving licence.
