About the role

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all civil design aspects of assigned projects
- Ensure compliance with client technical specifications and Hitachi Energy standards
- Manage the technical procurement process for external civil design services
- Monitor and control civil design deliverables to meet budget, scope, and schedule
- Review and validate civil design drawings and documentation
- Share engineering best practices across projects and disciplines
- Develop work plans and cost estimates, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
- Support contract managers in handling scope changes, claims, and risk assessments
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably on large industrial projects involving full building structures
- Experience in both EP and EPC project environments is a plus
- Prior hands-on experience as a Civil Designer is advantageous
- Familiarity with procurement processes for civil design and construction
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines
- A flexible, open-minded approach and strong interpersonal skills
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and proficient in English is needed for this position
